2 2 2 cups of sugar

1 lb seeded raisins
1 heaping tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups of all purpose flour
Mix sugar, water, shortening, and raisins and boil for 5 minutes. Cool mixture You can put into refrigerator until cooled. Dissolve the baking into a small mixture that was prepared above. Then add to the cooled mixture. Next, add all dry ingredients and mix well. Put into a well greased tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Serve warm.
